Maria Stewart served as a kitchen volunteer and volunteer sous chef at Miriam’s Kitchen for five rewarding years. She works as an attorney in Washington, D.C. and lives in Manassas, VA with her husband and ceramic artist, Jason Alexander, where she is also a Master Gardener Volunteer for Prince William County.
Ms. Stewart was acquainted with both Harvey the dog and the little tomato. She can attest that, not only was Harvey wise but that the little tomato did, in fact, make a difference.
